Merritt Midgets finish fourth at Provincials, Cents Alumni Tyler Halliday leads TRU WolfPack over UVic:

The Merritt Midget Reps finished fourth at the Provincials after a 4-3 loss today against Whitehorse. The Junior Cents roster featured no fewer than six players who have attended either Spring Camp or Training Camp with the Junior A Centennials (Malik Miller, Cole Fex, Briar McNaney, Eric Schmidt, Brendan Colter & Mike Desimone) and were coached by former Cents assistant coach Joe Quewezance and former Cents player Cuyler Dickie.

Merritt finished the tournament with a 3-3 record, but lost its last two straight to come home with the fourth place finish. I know I speak for the entire community when I congratulate the Midgets for everything they accomplished and there’s absolutely no shame in being among the top four in their division for the province.
